The XIII International Congress of Acarology will be held at Recife Palace
Hotel, in Recife - Pernambuco, Brazil, from August 23 to 27, 2010. Events
of this type occur once every 4 years. This is the first time that one of
those events is held in South America. It is expected that about 400
people, from Brazil and abroad, interested on the study and control of
mites will participate in this event. The objective of the congress is to
discuss the most diverse aspects related to mites, that live in our homes,
in food storages, on plants, on animals (including man) etc.
